As an Security Manager IT at Mer, you will play a crucial role in advising IT teams best practices of IT Security. You will collaborate with you manager to define the necessary steps. The IT security manager will lead the IT efforts to implement NIS2 in Mer, and other security compliance regulations. Communication towards other teams is essential. This role has emphasis on IT but works with teams outside of the IT organization to define, document and implement best practices in the Mer  Way.

Key Responsibilities:

Compliance:

• Lead the efforts in implementation of security compliance e.g. NIS2
• Assist the GDPR officer in term of IT issues and findings
• Prepare reports to authorities in timely matter
• Be contact if IT breaches are detected

IT policies:

• Define IT policies that are practical but meet the needed compliance
• Role out common binding policies and assist if needed on implementations
• Handle partner – supply chain so the follow MER policies and compliance

Supply Chain:

• Ensure compliance of suppliers and partners
1. Things like TOM, ISO 27001, NIS2 and similar

Technical assessment: 

• You will work close with your manager and the advisor of charging
• You will analyze continuously and provide gap and risk analysis

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 2-6 years of experience in security arena.
• 2-6 years of experience in information systems operations, systems analysis, or development.
• Advanced knowledge of the software development lifecycle and DevOps practices.
• Demonstrated ability to guide cross-functional teams and proactively lead projects to completion.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Skills:

• Technical knowledge of software development and IT deployment.
• Technical knowledge of IT infrastructure – Cloud (Azure preferred)
• Collaborative spirit and ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
